"Drink Pink!" - The German Wine Institute's theme for ProWein
20 different rosé wines, selected by an expert jury from over 160 samples, will be available for free tasting throughout the day from May 15th to 17th at the DWI stand in Hall 1 (E120). The rosé sparkling wines will also be presented in detail in a moderated tasting on each day of the fair.

Strong growth rates for Germany's rosés
DWI Managing Director Monika Reule sees great potential for rosé wines from German origins, especially on the international markets. “This year we are presenting excellent rosé wines and sparkling wines to the ProWein trade audience from all over the world, because this type of wine is enjoying growing popularity in almost all of our important export markets. With the new, internationally competitive style of German rosés, we see good opportunities to benefit from this trend. Germany is the fifth largest rosé producer in the world and accounts for four percent of the global rosé wine market,” says Reule.
Germany's common stand showcases solidAHRity
In addition to the rosés, the Ahr wines will also be a topic at the DWI stand on Sunday and Monday at 3:30 p.m. According to the slogan "SolidAHRity - The future lies in wine", winegrowers will present selected wines from the Ahr and report on the current situation in the wine-growing region affected by the flood disaster.
„Love the wine you're with“ is the motto when the young winegrowers of the Generation Riesling invite you to a tasting at the DWI stand once each day .
Germany's Wine Ambassadors Sina Erdrich, Linda Trarbach and Saskia Teucke will alternately moderate the events.

This year, for the seventh time, the German Wine Institute is organizing a joint presentation of the Generation Riesling in the immediate vicinity (Hall 1 / E127). Six members from five individual wine-growing regions of the world's largest organization of young wine producers are presenting their fresh wine collections:
