British Publisher Awards Mosel and Rheingau Estates


Every year, the publisher William Reed (UK) surveys almost 600 wine and travel professionals from all continents about "The World's Best Vineyards". Four German wine producers made it into this exclusive hit list this year:

Breathtaking Views

"Schloss Johannisberg" is one of the great old German country estates and is mentioned in this internationally renowned ranking in the same breath as iconic international properties. The jury emphasizes two aspects of the Prince von Metternich-Winneburg domain at Schloss Johannisberg in the Rheingau. Here you can enjoy some of the most profound and storable Rieslings worldwide. In addition, the jury was impressed by the breathtaking views of the wine-growing region.

Jury praises steep-slope viticulture and wines

Regarding the winery Dr. Loosen, the jury praised the steep slope wines as some of the finest Moselle Riesling that money can buy. In addition, the Moselle and the beautiful town of Bernkastel-Kues are worth a visit.

Promotion of wine tourism

Every year, William Reed Business Media Ltd compiles the top 50 list from the votes of wine experts, sommeliers and travel journalists from all over the world. The publication aims to contribute to the promotion of wine tourism.
