Following the trade and media tasting, the doors opened for over 190 consumers that were anxious to sample and learn more about the numerous European Rieslings at the tasting.
In both New York and San Francisco, Wines of Germany hosted a table dedicated to German Rieslings from the 1990's, which was a huge hit in both cities.
Several attendees and exhibitors felt that this was the most successful U.S. Riesling & Co. tour to date. The events were great opportunities for participating producers to meet wine writers, importers, buyers, sommeliers, and even consumers. We are looking forward to Riesling & Co. 2011!
